Get Population Welfare Department Jobs 2023 in Punjab. The Punjab Government has announced new job openings at the Population Welfare Department. These opportunities are available to residents of Punjab and are open to both males and females, as well as disabled individuals and those from minority groups.
The current job openings are part of an ADP Scheme titled “Establishment of Adolescent Health Centers in 24 Family Health Clinics attached with District Headquarters Hospitals 2021-23.” The positions available include Psychologists (BS-17) and Junior Clerks (BS-11), and are open only to female applicants.
The Psychologists positions are based in various locations throughout Punjab, including Attock, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Chakwal, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Kasur, Khanewal, Khushab, Layyah, Lodhran, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, Narowal, Nankana, Okara, Pakpattan, Rajanpur, Sheikhupura, Toba Tek Singh, and Vehari.
To be eligible for the Psychologist position, candidates must have an MSc/BS degree in Psychology/Applied Psychology/Clinical Psychology and be between the ages of 23 and 35, with an additional 8 years of age relaxation for a total age limit of 43 years. For the Junior Clerk position, candidates must have a Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent qualifications, a typing speed of 25 words per minute in English on a computer, and proficiency in MS Office. The age limit for this position is 18 to 25 years, with an additional 8 years of age relaxation for a total age limit of 33 years.
Both of these positions are contract-based and non-transferable, and the contract period will last until the completion of the project on June 30, 2023. One Psychologist position is reserved for individuals from minority groups, and only candidates with domicile in Punjab are eligible to apply.
